Cherie B. Mathews Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Dedication and Business Leadership
Cherie B. Mathews established Healincomfort.com LLC two years ago

AUSTIN, TX, May 13, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cherie B. Mathews, Owner of Healincomfort.com has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.

Healincomfort.com LLC is a specialty medical clothing manufacturer that designs and sells post-operative shirts for women battling breast cancer. The patent-pending shirts are made with super-soft, moisture-management material to keep the patient dry and comfortable, internal pockets to provide a place for the patient's drains, and easy-to-use velcro-like buttons to allow dressing with minimal effort.

Ms. Mathews established the company two years ago after recognizing a need for the products based on her own post-operative experience - not being provided with the right equipment to go home in. To date, more than 400 healincomfort shirts were manufactured in the USA and gifted to Breast Cancer Centers across Texas to provide for local women battling breast cancer including; St. David's Medical Center, Conroe Regional Medical Center, M.D. Anderson, Texas Oncology, Houston Medical Center, Lester & Sue Smith Center, and Memorial Hermann. Healincomfort prides themselves on being a socially responsible company.

In 2010, she was also honored as the Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year by austinwoman Magazine, and awarded a business grant from the publication. She was also a 2010 finalist for the Austin eWomenNetwork Fearless Woman award. In addition to handling the day-ta-day operations of her business, she is a National Trainer for The First Tee National School Program, as well as director of charitable events for breast cancer, such as "The Support Crew Ride" and "Fight Like a Girl Party" which she founded as an avenue for raising money for healincomfort shirts to give back to her community in Austin, Texas.

Ms. Mathews has a degree in Computer Engineering Technology, and worked for IBM in Research and Development for eight years. Her affiliations include the Texas Women in Business, the Women's Business Enterprise National Council and the General Federation of Woman's Clubs. Ms. Mathews mission is to ensure every woman is sent home with a healincomfort shirt after surgery so they may heal in comfort and dignity while battling breast cancer. She attributes her success to her perseverance, and looks forward to making healincomfort shirts the industry standard for Breast Cancer Centers around the globe.
