Judith E. Katz Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Medical Radiation Technology
Judith Katz has shown zealous dedication to her field for more than three decades

OWEN SOUND, ON, CANADA, December 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Judith E. Katz, Manager of Molecular Imaging and Electro Diagnostic Service at Grey Bruce Health Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in medical radiation technology.

Ms. Katz has acquired expertise in radiation, molecular imaging, cardiology and neurology during her 33-year career. She has spent the past 10 years working as a manager at Grey Bruce Health Services. Her dedication to the field of radiation science has allowed her to co-author two papers, and conduct award-winning original research on myocardial function.

Ms. Katz earned a degree in Radiation Science in Nuclear Medicine from The Michener Institute after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto, altering her career path on the basis of a poor job outlook in pharmacology and the advice of a professor. It proved to be a smart move in more ways than one; first, Ms. Katz was honored with a Gold Medal Award as a top graduate of The Michener Institute, and second, she has derived great satisfaction from her work in the field. Ms. Katz holds memberships to OARM, CMRTO, the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Technologists, and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists. In addition, she serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Beth Ezekiel Synagogue.
