Dr. Nelli Fromer Honored for Excellence in Health Care

BROOKLYN, NY, November 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Nelli Fromer, a Fellow in the Oncology Department of Maimonides Medical Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health care.

Dr. Fromer was inspired to pursue a career in health care through her interest in science and the human body. Specializing in oncology, she serves as a fellow in the oncology unit of Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Fromer is tasked with treating patients and running the daily operations of the unit. She considers her success in this role to be a direct result of her dedication.

In 2008, Dr. Fromer earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Science from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of the New York Institute of Technology. She previously received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Yeshiva University in 2004. Dr. Fromer remains current in her industry through affiliation with the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Clinical Oncologists. Looking toward the future, Dr. Fromer intends to work in a hospital setting so that she can treat patients and teach student doctors.
