Mrs. Capito-Wightman has 29 years of overall professional experience. At The Artac Seel Company, she is responsible for overseeing immunology, oncology, hematology and stem cell research. She started her career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1981 as a medical information scientist. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to assistant director, where she oversaw the transplantation clinical data/programs. She then moved into clinical research and medical affairs.
In 1985, Mrs. Capito-Wightman received a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Business/Immunology from Seton Hall University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry in 1981 from Caldwell College, and is a member of the Society of Toxicology, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, the Drug Information Association and ASCO.
