WEST HILLS, CA, December 8, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Susan M. Zneimer, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of MOSYS Consulting, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in health care, laboratory consulting and medical writing.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Dr. Zneimer has spent the past four years as the CEO of MOSYS Consulting. In her position, her responsibilities include: reviewing genetics cases and performing laboratory testing for cancer patients and individuals with genetic disorders. She also consults for laboratories on compliance and efficiency.

In addition to her current position, Dr. Zneimer works as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine and an instructor at Moorpark College. She also serves as a clinical associate at the University of California at San Francisco, and is the Associate Medical Director for US Labs.

She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cytogenetics at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Zneimer is also a graduate of Texas A&M University, the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of California at San Diego; she earned a Ph.D. in genetics, a Master of Science in biochemical genetics and evolutionary biology and a major in Zoological Biology, respectively. She is a certified cytogeneticist and six sigma green belt.

A fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics, Dr. Zneimer belongs to The American Society of Human Genetics and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. In her free time, she supports her local Jewish foundation and The Leukemia Society & Lymphoma Society.
