A registered pharmacist, Candice Y. Gagliardi specializes in the provision of medicinal treatments for oncology patients. In her position with Halifax Health, a charge she has held for the past three years, she is responsible for consulting with physicians, designing treatment regimens for cancer patients and preparing chemotherapy. Ms. Gagliardi utilizes her industry savvy to calculate orders and input patient information into various pharmaceutical computer systems. In order to stay current with trends in her field, she attends weekly multidisciplinary team conferences on breast cancer and evening updates on other oncology topics and chemotherapy agents.

Ms. Gagliardi was inspired by her neighbor, who was a pharmacist, to pursue a career in the same field. She enjoys working with patients in the oncology department and is consistently surprised and motivated by their determination and strength of character. A truly compassionate professional, Ms. Gagliardi considers unwavering dedication to be the key to her success.

She holds a doctor of pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, earned in 2007. She is a licensed consultant in Florida, a licensed pharmacist in Florida and Pennsylvania, and was certified in immunization in 2004. She was honored with the Rho Pi Phi Alumni Award for outstanding contribution to community welfare and was named "VIP of the Year" by Cambridge Publishing for the 2009-2010 year in recognition of professional excellence. Ms. Gagliardi's affiliations include the Rho Chi Honor Society, the Volusia Flagler County Pharmacy Association, the Young Professional Group and the American Pharmacists Association. She plans events for a number of local and national charities including Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society and the Palm Coast United Methodist Church.
