Elnora Galang Honored for Accomplishments in Trauma and Critical Care
Elnora Galang has demonstrated excellence throughout her 13 years in the healthcare industry
JAMAICA, NY, June 20, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Elnora Galang, Licensed Practical Nurse for Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of nursing.
With 13 years of experience in healthcare, Ms. Galang is recognized as an expert in trauma and critical care. A licensed practical nurse for Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, she works in the trauma unit. Her responsibilities include assisting doctors and caring for patients, including trauma cases with cancer and brain injuries. Ms. Galang ventured into healthcare because of the influence of her parents, both of whom were doctors. She attributes her success to keeping her knowledge current by attending conferences.
Ms. Galang became a Registered Nurse in 1977 in her native Philippines. She was honored by Jamaica Hospital Medical Center with a certificate of recognition for 13 years of service. In her spare time, she volunteers as a nurse for patients with cancer.
