Dr. Allen M. Chernoff Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Dr. Allen M. Chernoff celebrates 10 years of excellence in the treatment of urologic diseases
SKOKIE, Il, June 5, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Allen M. Chernoff, Urologic Oncologist for Greater Chicago Urology, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of urologic surgery.
Dr. Chernoff is a respected specialist in laparoscopy and robotic surgery. He has 10 years experience treating urologic disease. His practice focuses on the minimally invasive treatment of urologic cancer using laparoscopic and robotic technology. He has had an extensive background in academic medicine having been an associate professor and program director of the department of urology at University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Chernoff attributes hi success to his hard work and dedication both to the field of urology and his patients.
A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Chernoff received his MD in 1992 from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He completed his surgical internship, surgical residency and urology residency at SUNY-HSC at Brooklyn. He went on to complete a prestigious American Foundation for Urologic Disease (AFUD) fellowship in urologic oncology at the National Cancer Institute. His professional affiliations include the American Urologic Association, Society of Urologic Oncology and the Society of Laparoscopy and Robotic Surgery. Dr. Chernoff looks forward to develop his practice further in the coming years, expanding the use of minimally invasive techniques in urology.
