The New Jersey Executives Club (NJEXEC) is pleased to announce that former Merck chairman and chief executive officer, Dr. P. Roy Vagelos, will be its featured speaker at the Club's event on Friday, September 23 at the Raritan Valley Country Club in Bridgewater, NJ.

Roy Vagelos speak about his book, "Medicine, Science and Merck," and will be conducting a book signing courtesy of the event sponsor, Pharmadule. At the conclusion of the event all proceeds from the book sale will be donated to charity.

Dr. Vagelos served as chief executive officer of Merck and Company Inc., for nine years, from 1985 to 1994. He was first elected to the Board of Directors in 1984 and served as its chairman from 1986 to 1994.
